Future Teachers of America are students who make a difference with other students through listening, understanding, communication, and caring. They have a desire to learn about the profession of teaching and enjoy helping others. Future Teachers of America:
- Serve as positive role models
- Assist teachers with various duties
- Assist sixth grade students in the morning
- Promote good citizenship and foster positive school climate
- Work with elementary school students
The club is limited to 7th & 8th graders, the application packet must be completed and approved. Club size is limited to 15.
6th graders are welcome to join but will not be able to attend field trips.
